Default JDM Carburetor

The ID tag on my carb reads FZX1146 (which I believe IDs it as an HS4 of some vintage) and also 7WK904. Does any one know what the second number means? I'm trying to find more information on the carb as it doesn't look like any in the manuals. THX.

Rowly, the Haynes SU carb manual says your FZX 1146 indicates an HS4 for an Austin Mini 1000 from 1976. You're right about that. I'll try digging a little deeper for the other number.

Can't find anything more about that second number. The Haynes manual even has a photo of a carb tag bearing two numbers, but the caption totally ignores the second.

It doesn't seem to relate to jets or needles or anything like that.
